This guy is more important to me right now than anything else, even more than our ongoing placements. I have been waiting for this moment from last 3 years. Finally, I get a chance and it’s spoilt because of your stupidity!”
“Chill Bro, I have seen him in our hostel premises couple of minutes back. There is no way he can escape the maneuver we have for him. All the places are covered by our people. It will only be few minutes before someone finds him.”
“It better be. Otherwise you people are going to have a hard time at college from now on!”
“Why do you have such animosity on him? Has he done something very bad to you?”
“Animosity?? Huh, that’s a very small word for what he has done to us. He had all the time to beat every one of us one by one through these 3 years but we never caught a chance to do the same to him. Which is why this is not only my revenge but ours, our whole batch! Even he knows what he has done and he can’t escape like he did before. This opportunity is precious for us. We had weeks of planning, loads of discussions and a common agenda to execute on this day. I am taking help of you people(juniors) so that you people can see what kind of people you may encounter in your batch or the following batches.”
“Sure. You people have all the things ready?”
“We are just counting the time Bro. Each of us are ready with cricket bats, wickets, Hockey sticks and more!”
“You are looking very dangerous, nothing worse would happen to him right? You just gonna hurt him and leave right?”
“You worry too much. You just find him for me and leave. We will take care of the rest.”
(cell phone rings)
“Hello Shankar. Oh, good. I will inform our seniors. Thanks.”
“Bro, we found where he is hiding…”
“Dey, please leave me rey. I wouldn’t come near any of you from now on. I am not well. Not at this time please.”
“You can repeat all the words we used to say to you and we do the same thing you used to do to us. Hold him. People it’s our time now. Don’t miss any chance. TAKE YOUR REVENGE!!!”
Everyone beat Rajeev (who tried to hide ) one by one with the weapons they had. And Rajeev reached a point where he couldn’t standup. Then they lifted him, started throwing him up and counting.
1…2…3………50.
Then they dropped him on the floor and a big roar reverberated through the surroundings…
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAJEEV!!”
“Do you get it now Rajeev how hard on being that side? just because your birthday falls in December and we have semester holidays in December you thought we will never get you right. But every dog has a day and today is yours!”
